Customizable

The Phantoms contain cylindrical inserts with well-defined contrast levels for the evaluation of the low-contrast resolution of micro-CT scanners. The contrast levels in Hounsfield Units are -40 HU and -80 HU for QRM-70108 (V1) and -30 HU, -60 HU and -90 HU for QRM-70124 (V2).

Actual values vary slightly depending on scanner geometry, calibration and tube voltage.

Different dimensions and inserts can be produced upon request.

The main body of the Micro-CT Low Contrast Phantoms is a proprietary epoxy (soft tissue equivalent resin). The inserts are the same base material but with reduced density.

The Micro-CT Low Contrast Phantom, V1, QRM-70108 offers two different contrast levels - 4 % / - 8 % with two different diameters (1 mm / 2.5 mm).
