Micro-PET Scatter Phantom

For evaluating scatter fraction, count losses & random coincidence measurements of micro-PET systems acc. to the NEMA NU 4-2008 standard

  • Performance evaluation of positron emission tomography (PET) systems for small-animal imaging
  • Design in accordance with the NEMA NU 4-2008 standard
  • Mouse, Rat and Monkey size

The NEMA NU 4-2008 standard proposes a standardized methodology for evaluating the performance of positron emission tomography (PET) designed for small-animal imaging.

The phantoms are designed according to the NEMA NU4-2008 specifications for the evaluation of scatter fraction, count losses and random coincidence measurements in micro-PET systems. Three different types of phantoms are available (mouse, rat or monkey size). The phantoms are made from high-density polyethylene (HD PE).
