Measure imaging performance of dental Cone-Beam CT equipment. Perform acceptance and constancy tests with a compact easy-to-use phantom.

The Dental CBCT Phantoms (basic or expert versions available) are designed to evaluate the imaging performance of Cone-Beam CTs, e.g., in dental application or for Digital Volume Tomography (DVT) systems.

The following image quality parameters can be determined according to DIN IEC 61223-3-5 or DIN IEC 61223-2-6:

  • CT value uniformity
  • CT value accuracy
  • Image noise
  • Contrast-to-noise ratio (CNR)
  • Spatial resolution (3D MTF, sphere).

The expert version additionally allows the determination of the spatial resolution (visual, hole pattern) and checks the artifact behavior of metal, bone and soft tissue.
