Spectral CT Phantom

Thorax Phantom (QRM-20100)

The Thorax Phantom is used as (semi-)anthropomorphic surrounding for Spectral CT Phantom. It comprises artificial lung lobes, a spine insert, and a shell of soft tissue-equivalent material.

The plastics used mimic human tissues with respect to density and X-ray attenuation characteristics of a human thorax.

It is also possible to combine the Spectral CT Phantom with the Abdomen Phantom (QRM-20118).

A set with a total of 12 test rods includes different concentrations of Iodine and Ca-Hydroxyapatite (CaHA) as well as water- and soft tissue-equivalents (adipose, muscle, bone, and lung according to ICRU Report 44 and 46)
